Staying here with my partner while exploring the nearby attractions was such a treat! The hosts made us feel incredibly welcome, showcasing their attention to detail from the delicious fresh cakes upon arrival to a meticulously clean and stylish room. We particularly enjoyed breakfast on the terrace with options like poached eggs and smoked salmon, which were a delightful way to start our day. Plus, being just a short stroll from the Howard Smith Wharves and James Street made it super convenient for our outings.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating.
I found the Master Suite to be quite gloomy and uninviting. Instead of enjoying a beautiful view, I was left staring at blinds that were never raised, despite my requests. The bed was poorly prepared for the chilly nights, and I experienced constant discomfort with the inadequate bedding provided.

this place had potential, but honestly, the gloomy room with no view was disappointing. i expected a cozy stay, but that cotton coverlet didn’t cut it. and a small bin in the room? how terribly underwhelming. a welcome gift or even a room upgrade would’ve won me over, but alas, i just couldn’t be satisfied.

Here’s the good and the not-so-good
The hosts were incredibly friendly, providing excellent service. Breakfast was delightful, featuring a full cooked meal with fresh ingredients and lovely china. The room was cozy with thoughtful amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay.
Pillow comfort could be improved slightly, as they felt a bit stiff. the bathroom presented some challenges with ac accessibility and size, which may not suit everyone’s expectations for luxury.

Couple seeking cozy retreat
Our stay was a delightful experience. breakfast each morning was unforgettable with the freshest ingredients and those croissants are to die for! The hosts really went above and beyond, making us feel at home and sharing fun stories about the house's history.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but considering the quality, it was still reasonable.
